Through my eyes

Society. It affects us in so many ways. How we think, who we are, what we do. Are we ever free to be ourselves. Sometimes we get caught up in what we should say that we never think about what we mean. We get used to putting a fake smile on in the morning that we never have the real one on. It’s all about finding ourselves and not basing what we do and who we are on what others want us to be and think we should do. Sometimes fear, or drugs, or religion stop us from being who we are, we are conformed to only show a side everyone expects to see, that we completley loose ourselves. One of my favorite quotes is ” I didnt know what i wanted to be but i knew i wanted to be an independent woman. ” I live my life by this. Somtimes i get lost in all the diffrent aspects of life like boys, drama, and everything else but life is not a popularity contest. It’s about discovering who we are and what we want to be. Taking action and standing up for what we believe in. In society women are supposed to be quiet and conservative or they are hushed upon by society. I really want to read the book, well-behaved women seldolm make history. This book highlights the fact that the women who have made history are women who were looked down upon for standing up what they believed in. They were considered “bad” for not being traditional but they have made the biggest changes for us. Try asking yourself : Who are you without all the judge mental eyes? Would you want to be your own friend? What are you going to wish you did 5 years from now? What do you want to be? Then stare at yourself for 10 minutes in the mirror looking at yourself, just looking at all your imperfections, all your perfections, because those are what have made you who you are today. Make time for yourself without any constraints and get to know who you are.
